Dear Colleague,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new co-director, in partnership with Dr. George Keech, of Farmington Valley Veterinary Emergency Hospital, part of BrightHeart Veterinary Centers. I was asked to join FVVEH shortly after it became part of BrightHeart, while Dr. Keech, as some of you may know, has been a valuable member of the practice for several years. Our goal is to bring state-of-the-art veterinary care, exceptional client services, and underrepresented specialty care to the greater Hartford area.

Prior to entering general practice, I completed a rotating internship in emergency medicine, surgery, and internal medicine at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in East Greenwich Rhode Island before joining Cheshire Veterinary Hospital. For the last two years, I have been a general practitioner in the area, so I understand the frustrations and challenges of entrusting your cherished clients to emergency doctors and specialists.

I want to go on record as pledging my personal commitment to establishing a closer, stronger relationship between FVVEH, you and your clients. This means that we must strive to be partners with you, working as a team to provide the level of support you desire in an effort to offer your clients the best veterinary care possible.

As part of my effort to enhance the quality of service that the emergency clinic provides, I will be taking the time over the next several months to introduce myself and our new Hospital Manager, Karyn Cordner, to you personally. I would like to give you the opportunity to have a voice in how we can best serve your clients and your patients.
